Worship Service
The central aspect of the life of our congregation is our weekly Family Worship Service at 10:30am. We welcome everyone, regardless of present or previous church membership, to get to know our family of faith through the service. Drawing upon the Bible and contemporary life, the service relates matters of faith and living a Christian life to the lives of those in the congregation. A full pipe organ and a piano provide the setting for the music, and the Chancel and Youth Choirs offer variety in their repertoire, including sacred, traditional and contemporary styles of music.

Children are welcome in our worship service and there is a portion of time set aside in each service specifically for them. The Children's Sermon invites children to the front of the Sanctuary, where an illustration and discussion is held that relates to their lives. Drawing upon topics such as school, sports, friends and siblings, matters of faith and God are translated into a language that the children can understand and relate to. Following the Children's Sermon, children go to Sunday School where they continue to learn about God and the Bible in an approachable and understandable manner, while adults remain in the service for a time of quiet reflection, prayer and the sermon.

Fellowship Events
Throughout the year, opportunities for fellowship are offered for families. We gather for breakfasts, lunches and dinners that foster relationships, providing a time of fun and fellowship. A Father's Day breakfast, an Advent Wreath Decorating Lunch and the Family Thanksgiving Dinner are just a few of the events that families attend together.

Outreach
Hands On projects, benefitting those in need, are offered throughout the year, which include sorting new and used goods to be distributed to local agencies, putting together meals for ‘The Bridges Project' and other local agencies, participating in distributing meals to the needy, collecting food, school supplies and products needed by local organizations, working with Habitat for Humanity, mentoring and tutoring students through SCEEP, sorting food at the Community Food Bank in Hillside or building/renovating homes, churches or schools through our Senior High School and Adult Fellowship Mission projects…these are just some examples.

The Rummage Sale, a semiannual event, is our most significant fundraiser, with all proceeds benefitting charitable organizations. The Church collects rummage goods from town residents throughout the year and sells them at bargain prices, raising funds to donate to others. Together, side-by-side, adults and children sort, sell and raise funds for those in need.
