Attending Family Worship is a great way to visit Community Congregational Church.
You will learn a lot about us. Children and families worship together at the start of the service, when smaller children are also invited to come up to the chancel steps for the weekly Children's Sermon. When the students through 9th grade leave for their Sunday School classes taught by College age teachers, the service continues with anthems, readings, the pastoral prayer and a sermon based on the day's scripture readings. In Family Worship, relating faith and spirituality to daily life is second only to worshiping God.
The Sunday bulletin also provides information about ongoing or upcoming events. After Family Worship and Sunday School, refreshments add to the enjoyment of catching up with other friends or making new ones. Other materials around the building also promote our outreach, education and music ministries.
When you visit, you can quietly come, worship and go. We invite you to visit freely. Feel no obligation, and if you think that Community Congregational Church could become a spiritual home to you, kindly introduce yourself to one of our ministers, or leave us your name and we will contact you.
Thank you for visiting us online!
