BAPTISM
The choice to be baptized or to have your child baptized is a milestone moment in a person’s faith journey - and we are excited to guide you through the process! Baptism is not only a personal celebration in the lives of the individual candidates and their families, but also a central celebration in the life of the local church!
If you are interested in being baptized, or having your child baptized, please get in touch with one of our pastors. They will meet with you to discuss the significance of the sacrament, as well as schedule a date that is mutually agreeable. The decision to get married is one of the most significant ones that you will make. A wedding ceremony held in a church is, first and foremost, a service of worship. God is at the center of all aspects of the service, including all music and speaking.
Planning a wedding can be an immense undertaking, with many moving parts and important details. The booklet below will answer many of your questions, as well as offer helpful information and suggestions regarding weddings at Community Congregational Church. Feel free to click below for more information on our Wedding policy or contact our office at Church@communitychurch.org.
WEDDINGS
May you be aware of God’s presence with you during this
time, and may you feel the support and care of the
church community. We encourage you to reach out to
our pastors at Community Congregational Church so that they may help guide you and your family through the process of grief and mourning.
In addition to their experience in consulting
and counseling, the pastors can also help plan any
memorial events that suitably observe the passing of
your loved one, so that their life and memory may be
celebrated and commemorated in dignity and respect.
