Dave@communitychurch.org
Dave previously served as Pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church since May 2008. Prior to coming to Holy Cross, Dave had served in several parishes in North Jersey. Earlier in his career, he served as a missionary and pastor in Taiwan. It was in Taiwan where he met his lovely wife Mei. God has blessed them with children; a son who is a senior in high school and an adult daughter who lives in Hudson county. The Knechts reside in Springfield.
Dave's joy in ministry is seeing how the Holy Spirit works through the lives of Christians. "When people are inspired to use the gifts that their God has given them for helping others, it helps me see God. I would love the chance to meet you and talk about what God is doing in your life."
